ARTKids Director Sherry Sparks announces a new format and content for ARTKids. With the help of recent volunteer, Zettie Shults, and with a renewed enthusiasm, Sparks has given the Website an appeal sure to bring viewers back, time and time again. The new format will be available on April 1, 2000.
A special feature is the ARTZone, an educational area with printable lesson plans, tools, and enhancements for the classroom and the individual student of art.

Within ARTWords Jr. there is a new illustrated Storytime by Jeanne Wolf called "Saskia Buffalo Woman", and the addition of the ARTKids Debate. Opening the Debate will be an issue that has been in controversy since the tragic Columbine Massacre, "Homeschool versus Public or Private School". This topic is sure to get a lot of response, and is a pertinent subject for children, parents and educators today. A bevy of links to information and studies are included. Feel free to send in your comments and get involved with the ongoing debate!
