"No, Emmy Lou, not
THAT kind of voice!"
From Jeanne Wolf: "There is a new chain of restaurants being built in several large towns in the US called CAFE` TU TU TANGO. They have artists working in five hour shifts (with breaks) painting anything they want in view of the diners. Their work is for sale, the walls are covered with the chosen people who paint there. you cannot hang your work if you didn't paint there. This is a really cool place, nice atmosphere, good jazz and other music, great TAPAS. Look around and support this art friendly restaurant fellow artists!!"

From Kimas: "Hi Lynda, Got my first chance today, to really read and
go through the AFAP website. I'm glad they chose you to be the Editor, I can
tell by your posts; you are helpful, encouraging, and unbiased. You were so
helpful to me when I got the computer;I was lost. Thank you for helping me
get connected to the "Artsy " places. The article on copyrights, was a great
opener for artistic people. If I've done one thing right, It has been to register
a copyright. Best $25.00 I ever spent! If you write them, they will send you
two copies of the forms. And you are allowed to make copies of the form. Just
filing costs nothing, but it's best to register and pay the $25.00. That way,
heirs are protected too.
Always, Kim"

From the Editor: "Y'all are too kind. Thanks for the words of encouragement and support. They're truly appreciated. I couldn't do this without a fantastic staff -- Sheri Gordon, Kathleen McGee, Mercedes Herndon, so many others. They're all terrific people and a tremendous help -- and very patient with their Editor, thank goodness! ;->
